Year 2500

Chain Writing

In the year 2500, the world was full of darkness and quietness, but then, I was born, and could change this world back to normal. I was born with a weird and special power. I had the power which is that I can have the thing that I want. However, I didn't notice that I had the magical power, so I had been really lucky when I didn't know. After school, I was wanting ice cream. Then, in front of my face there was ice cream. I loved this and went back home. When I got to my home,I felt really strange. My mom's eyes were red and had devil wings. I was frightened. She stared at me like I was her maid. I was confused. I never thought she would be a devil. I thought, " Wow. This world is getting worse." I live with my mom only. Then, I thought about my power. I wished this world would be filled with kindness. Swoosh! Nothing happened except the wind blew.

Then, I went to sleep. I dreamed about a crystal that was round shaped. Then, I woke up during the night. I don't know why but my legs just moved to somewhere. I just followed. Then, I stopped in front of a castle. I walked inside there and saw a crystal. It was on the end of the table. I tried to get there, but there was a dragon that blocked me. Then it saw me and tried to hurt me. I jumped around him and try to run away from it but it caught me. I told all stories about world full of darkness because I believed that he will understand me. He still didn't let me go. I thought it would never work and gave away my lucky charm. It was a flower and it stayed at same form. It was full of hope. It was the last thing I had. I gave it to dragon. Suddenly, the dragon made the flower shine then put it in a red jewelry box. Now he got a symbol of flower on his back. Then, he flew away with the box that contained the flower. I went near to the crystal. Now, I got the crystal and I ran because I was happy. Then, I dropped the crystal.


 

The little wizard that was in the crystal came out with a sigh. The crystal was broken. " No! This can't be true!" I screamed. The pure, clean teardrops came out of my eyes. It dripped and dripped. I felt terrible. The tears fell on the good wizard. I cried, then the wizard changed something. Suddenly, a boy was stepping to me and showed the way to home. When I came back to my house, I found out that everything became peaceful. I even got a best friend which is the person I met in the castle. It isn't my magical power that changed this world, it was love, caring, and hope.

Ode to Enjoyment

Today, I want to tell you the ode to enjoyment. Firstly, I wil tell you what is ode.
At wiki.answers.com, the meaning is a lyrical verse written in praise of, or dedicated to someone or something which captures the poets interest as an inspiration for the ode.

Secondly, I want to tell you about my ode. It is my first time writing ode poem, so even though it is not good, just try to listen what I say.

You are a fantastic thing! You firstly entertain me. You show me fun websites and fun videos. Now I have some favorites that are on my blog. Firstly, when I feel bored, I turn on my laptop and you fight with darkness and boredom. You mostly win at the battle. Then, the peace comes. You show fabulous things to play with. The fresh, new feeling comes to me each time when you come. You make me feel so clean and  new with peaceful sounds. The birds chirp, dog bark, and people clap as you sing and talk. You are very great.

Also, thank you for letting me go on trips safely. Without you, I can't feel the true meaning of trip and have really fun. Lucky you, you can go anywhere. You just follow people with care and you go to every country that I want to go. You even went to sea shore that sounds so breezy.

You are love. You sound so melty and warm that everyone's icy heart would melt. Mine has already melted. You make my mouth go up and enjoy. You are like a creamy ice cream, that most people would love and wait for. Melt our cold Earth and make us feel more sweet and entertain us. Keep us in good temper. I hope I can be you or light to other people.

Spring

Today, I want to tell you the movie I watched. The movie is called Spring. The video is under this sentence.

Firstly, I will tell you what this movie is about. A small boy was playing and tying animals bodies to rocks. Monk found it out and decided to scold him. He told the boy if all the animals aren't alive, then, he got a stone around his back forever. Then, the boy found that the frog wasn't dead but fish and snake was dead. It  sort of tells you why and how you shouldn't kill living creatures and care about them.

Actually, this happens too, in my town. Some people kill ants by stepping on it, cut grasshoppers' legs and arms, and cut wings from dragonflies. They should feel sad, bad, and try to help them, but they think it is funny and know only as a joke. It shouldn't be like this. When I was little, I tried to catch grasshoppers but their legs were broken. I felt really really sad for them.

Even when I was young,  I killed tons of ants. My friends are keep doing it still, I said to stop, but they just kill them because ants do bad things to us. Yesterday, this happened. There was a bug on my pants so I took it out. Then, a girl stepped on it and it was squashed. Even more the bugs' body was separated. I really don't know why they still do that.

I have some examples. When I started to call other people names and sometimes hated my friends, my mom and teachers always told me same thing. That time I was young so I didn't know I'm doing it wrong or right. They tried to teach me. They said that think their feelings and change positions. Take care of other people as yourself. You have to know how they feel. If you like it, then, they will like it. If you hate it, then they will hate it. You and other things are same living things.

Today, I talked about Spring, the movie, the life that is similar to the movie, gave personal examples, and told you about my feelings. The lesson of this movie is to think about other people and change the positions before you say or act something. Martin Luther King Jr. said Darkness can't make darkness go away. Only light can. We have to care other people with care and love. Let's light up the world with caring starting today!

Kony 2012

Today I will talk about the plan called, Kony 2012.

Now firstly, I will talk about who is Joseph Kony. He was born in Uganda and he thinks that he is a good christian. He wanted Uganda to be a Christian nation so in 1987, he formed a group called LRA which stands for Lord's Resistance Army. He kidnapped about 20,000 children for use as fighters and sex slaves. He made them kill their own parents. If they try not to do, he cut off their body parts. He used to be a small catholic boy but now he has become a terrible criminal who kills anyone who try not to do what he ordered. In the bottom of this passage, there is a picture of him.



Now I will talk about this movie which tells you about the plans to make Kony stop. The video is made by the invisible children Inc. and they will try to make Kony famous for the bad crime. How do you think of this idea? You might agree with this, but I don't. I strongly disagree. There are many reasons why we shouldn't continue this and the truth about this happening. I strongly disagree with this plan. Firstly, that's because there are already so many fake websites. This video might be fake too. I'll introduce a website that talks about the tree octopus. Here is the website.

If you go on into this website, you can see the tree octopus. Do you believe in ti or not? This website is actually fake. It is sort of hard to believe, but it is made for teaching students that there are fake websites. I heard about this website in America, and I believed in it too. After knowing it's fake, I learned that most websites can be fake. This website is absolutely fake because some news reporters found out that it's fake and even met the owner. He said that this website is fake. Below, there is a URL for this news.

Who knows if the Kony 2012 is fake? The owner of the video just might didn't say the truth.

Second reason why is that if he gets famous, then he will try to runaway and escape more. Then, it will be harder to get him. Let's just say this video is real and Kony is also alive. If we keep make Kony famous that everyone knows, then Kony will hear about it and  runaway from here. He might go to other country and kill more people. Catching him quietly and suddenly is much better.

Last reason is that people can't really do about this. They will just hear the Kony 2012 and buy a kit. How does this even help to catch Kony? Why they are catching him so slowly? You just need police to catch him. You don't need many money. We can't really trust this man.

Firstly, in this video, it shows how we should make him famous and how this is a serious problem, they would have already caught him. If it's really a big problem then they have to try their best right now not getting money from people who donated.

Secondly, some people says that these things already happened in 2006 to 2009. Some people say even the LRA's leader, Joseph Kony is caught. He is doing this only for money for traveling and other use.

Three things I know to be true

Hello. This is my second time writing on this blog. Today, I will talk about things that I like and know to be true. First, I will talk about fun and cool videos and websites. Also, I will talk about my pets and what kind of pets I like. I hope you enjoy!



I would like to introduce cool, awesome, and fun videos and websites. I know tons of videos and websites. I heard about them from TV shows and from my friends. For the videos, there are cats playing pianos, pets singing christmas songs, and some music videos I like. I like 'fireflies.' Second of all, I want to tell you about GLPS camp. This stands for Global Leadership Program for students.
We have a Writing class, Math class, Debate class, and History class. In Writing class, we make blogs and post it in blog. This is the blog I made for this camp. At this camp, teachers and friends are really nice and we make jokes while in our rooms. I want to see my parents and my friends in my hometown, but I enjoy and like it here.

Lastly, I will talk about my pets. I have many guppies and a turtle. I have about five adult guppies, and thirty small guppies. The turtle is cute and when I'm alone, I play with the turtle. I don't have any sisters and brothers so I get bored easily, but when I see the pets, I feel better.
